Anthrie

Privacy policy

Anthrie exists to take the weight of your digital life off you. To do that it has to read a lot about you. This policy says exactly what it reads, why, where that data goes, and what it will never do with it.

Who we are

Anthrie is made by Intellumia Pte. Ltd., 60 Paya Lebar Road, #07-54 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051 ("Intellumia", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@anthrie.com.

Our promises

• Your data works only for you. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
• No person reads your data, including our staff. The only exception is support you explicitly ask for, limited to what you allow and the time you allow, and recorded in your account.
• Anthrie never deletes anything of yours and never moves or changes your files. It never sends, pays, signs or calls on your behalf without your tap, unless you have explicitly handed it that kind of task.
• You can see everywhere your data went: every service and AI model that processed it, when, and why.

What Anthrie reads, and only with your permission

Anthrie reads only the sources you connect or allow on your devices, and you can disconnect any of them at any time.

• Email (for example iCloud Mail, Gmail, Outlook): messages and their attachments, their senders and recipients, and their state (read, flagged, where they are filed). Text in attachments such as PDFs and scanned documents is read on your device. Bank and card statements are skipped unless you choose otherwise.
• Messages and chats (for example iMessage, Slack, Telegram) and, on Mac, the WhatsApp notifications and the chat you have open — read-only. Anthrie never sends on WhatsApp.
• Calls: who, when, how long and which direction, from your device's call history.
• Calendars, contacts and reminders.
• Notes, files and photos: titles, names, dates and sizes; and, in the folders you choose, the text of your documents (PDFs, Office and iWork files, notes, scans), read on your device. Anthrie never moves, renames, changes or deletes a file. Photos are read for dates and places, not looked at.
• Meetings and conversations, only when you turn this on: audio is transcribed on your device and deleted once transcribed; transcripts are kept on that device for 30 days. Anthrie posts or shows a notice where the law requires the consent of everyone present.
• Money and documents, only if you connect them: read-only account and card activity through regulated providers, and documents awaiting your signature. Anthrie never moves money.
• What you do in Anthrie: what you approve, edit, decline or correct, so it can learn how you work.

Why it reads them

To act for you: find what needs your attention, keep track of promises made and owed, prepare replies and follow-ups in your voice, keep your inbox in order, brief you each morning and evening, and learn who and what matters to you so it interrupts you only when it should. We process this data to provide the service you asked for (performance of our contract with you) and, where required, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where your data goes

Your data is processed on your own devices and in Anthrie's cloud service, which runs 24/7 so the twin keeps working while your devices are off. In the cloud it runs in an isolated, attested environment; your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the keys are released only to that environment and to your own devices.

To understand and write, Anthrie uses AI models from providers on our approved list. Every approved provider contractually agrees to keep no copy of your data after answering and never to train on it. Current processors:

• Cloud hosting: Google Cloud (Singapore).
• AI model access: OpenRouter, routed only to providers with zero data retention; and Apple's on-device models.
• Device sync and key storage on Apple devices: Apple iCloud.

We will list any change to this list here before it takes effect. Your data may be processed outside your country; where that happens we rely on the safeguards the law requires.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account, Anthrie reads the Gmail, Calendar, Contacts and Drive data you authorise, only to provide the features described above to you. Anthrie's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to train generalised AI models, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent for a specific message, for security purposes, to comply with law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.

How long we keep it

• Your Anthrie record (what it has learned and done for you) is kept while your account is active.
• Message content copied for processing is kept only as long as it is useful for decisions and drafting, and never longer than 12 months.
• Meeting audio: deleted once transcribed. Transcripts: 30 days, on the device that recorded them.
• When you close your account we erase your Anthrie data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something. Your own email, files and other source data are yours and are never touched.

Your rights

You can see what Anthrie knows about you and correct it; see where your data went; export your Anthrie record; disconnect any source; and erase your Anthrie data. Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, or the GDPR), you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, nominate someone to act for you, and complain to a regulator. Security

Encryption in transit and at rest, keys held only by your devices and the attested cloud environment, isolation between users, least-privilege access, independent security assessment of connected-account access, and a record of every access Anthrie makes to your sources.

Children

Anthrie is not for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect, and we will never apply a change that weakens these promises to data we already hold without your consent.
